A leader in health technology aimed to revolutionize cardiac care with an advanced remote monitoring service designed for mobile and cloud platforms. Despite a strong vision, their team faced a severe shortage of specialized IT expertise and an insufficient workforce to scale its operations effectively. These constraints threatened to impede the development of their platform and momentum toward improving patient care worldwide.
In October 2011, the global brand established a powerful partnership with Ambient Consulting, leveraging its industry expertise, stateside consultants, and offshore capabilities. This collaboration, marked by fast-paced and flexible work at a competitive cost, involved a cumulative deployment of 50 highly skilled professionals throughout the project, all under the leadership of a seasoned chief solution architect.
As project demands increased, Ambient expanded into an annex office to support the growing team, ensuring the development space could meet the project's escalating needs. Throughout the project, which extended until 2015, Ambient's CTO and program manager meticulously organized the coordination between Ambient's onshore team, offshore partners, and the client, ensuring seamless integration and consistently high execution quality.
The partnership with Ambient Consulting solidified the remote monitoring service as a cornerstone of cardiac care and a prudent financial investment. The project's exceptional stability in team structure, minimal contractor turnover, and comprehensive scope were key to its success. Ambient delivered approximately 47,500 hours of non-offshore work, complemented by roughly 75,200 hours from the offshore team, which significantly contributed to the project's cost efficiency.
Currently, the system is not just functional—it is excelling, evolving to integrate new technologies that address emerging healthcare needs while maintaining its foundational features. This ongoing innovation and robustness underscore Ambient's dedication to developing resilient solutions that can withstand technological advancements in healthcare, ensuring the global brand's system remains at the forefront of cardiac care technology.
